NeoControl approved for reimbursement by Turkey, Croatia governments

In October 2005, "Extracorporeal Magnetic Innervation for the Treatment of Urinary Incontinence" was issued in the reimbursement price list for the Turkish Medical Association and the Turkish government. This move affects more than 50 million Turkish citizens and widely opens the door for NeoControl treatment in Turkey. Neotonus is represented in Turkey by Hidromed Medical Devices Ltd. Co.

In August 2006, NeoControl Therapy was accepted for reimbursement by the Health Care Insurance Fund (HCIF) in Croatia. NeoControl has gained popularity through SIMBEX clinics in Zagreb, and this decision by the Croatia government sets the stage for many more placements of NeoControl in the country and neighboring regions. Neotonus exhibits at Arab Health 2006 in Dubai, UAE

From January 22-26, 2006, Neotonus management took part in the largest annual healthcare show in the Middle East, ARAB HEALTH. The company met with hundreds of potential distributors in the region, and as a result Neotonus has planned a massive launch of its products in Gulf countries throughout 2006. New NeoControl study shows benefit in treating fecal incontinence

In the first peer-reviewed, published study of the effects of NeoControl on anorectal function and fecal incontinence, researchers at St. George Hospital in Australia studied 15 patients, who were treated twice weekly for five weeks. After six weeks, there was a statistically significant increase in resting and squeeze anal pressures and a significant subjective and objective improvement in continence scores.

NeoControl receives product approval in Russia, Brazil

Neotonus representatives Nayfeld Corporation (Russia, pictured right) and Instrumentarias Cientificas (Brazil) in early 2006 informed Neotonus management that product registration was confirmed final by the respective health authorities in their countries. 

Registration is expected in at least three other former-USSR nations during this year, Nayfeld Corporation reported. 

Meditech Interworld, one of Neotonus' liaisons for Latin America, has launched an advertising campaign in Brazil and expects to quickly penetrate the medical market. Brazil is the second Latin American nation to launch NeoControl since Fall 2005. Neotonus re-launched their products in Chile in October 2005.

Georgia Medicare coverage approved for NeoControl therapy

In February 2003, Georgia Medicare issued a coverage policy providing reimbursement for the treatment of female urinary incontinence using the NeoControl Therapy.

Empire (New York) Blue Cross/Blue Shield Issues Coverage Policy for NeoControl device

In late 2002, Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New York established a coverage policy at $68 per treatment, allowing more than 48,000 providers in the area to receive third-party reimbursement. Neotonus, Inc. expects to dramatically expand its presence in the Northeastern United States as a result of this decision.
